Today we celebrate all you bibliophiles out there, and your unwavering love of books. So instead of sharing images of our books, which we do all the time, we thought we would share some images of bibliophiles past with their books.

(Ok, and one of our books, but you’ll see why.)

Some of the books in these photos were likely studio props, but others were certainly treasured objects, meaningful enough to be part of a portrait, captured indefinitely.

We’re already planning to incorporate some of the amazing vvords featured in this collection into our vocabulary, including Flizze, Fudder, and Fuzzen.
