Hello! Hello! Hello! Well, Well, Well! What’s This?

This circa 1895 humorous metamorphic trade card promoting “Imperial Metal Polish” features the perceived and actual scene viewed by a voyeuristic old man. When opened half-way, the card shows the scene as perceived by the old man: a bare bottom and a woman’s feet. The actual scene, shown when the trade card is opened entirely, features a racily-attired young woman smoking a cigar, drinking, and seated on a hammock near a pig. #TradeCardTuesday
