Today’s #Caturday feature is the frontispiece of our copy of Galaxy of Wit and Wisdom (1875), which illustrates a humorous tale from the text
Happy #Caturday! Marriott C. Morris captured this adorable image of a man petting a kitten in 1882. We love the two kitties climbing the stairs on the right to get in on the action <3
Happy Caturday! How great is this image featuring a clever old cat and some even cleverer mice? We are obsessed.
This cat is either ready for story time or looking for a way out of this room. #chooseyourownadventure
What crafting day would be complete without a furry feline to lend a helping paw (or claw)? #Caturday
An image so nice, they used it twice! Happy #Caturday
Happy Caturday! Anyone else think all images should have a cat head border?
Happy Caturday!
This card is from the 1843 edition of the popular 19th-century matching and memory card game, Game of Dr. Busby, designed by Ann Abbot. The game is composed of four suits of five cards (Busby, Doll, Mr. Ninny-Come-Twitch, and Gardener). Suits are denoted with a different pictorial detail in the upper right corner: a mortar and pestle; pan of milk; an eye; and a spade.
The card featured is from the Doll suit.
NBD, just trying to melt some hearts. Happy Caturday!
